Mitre Peak, Milford Sound, New Zealand
I took this photo while on a cruise at Milford Sound, New Zealand. Seen to the left is the mighty Mitre Peak, towering nearly a kilometre above the sea level. The faint outlines of Stirling Falls can be seen to the right. I took this picture with my iPhone 12 Pro while standing on the rear deck of the catamaran as we were heading back to the shore.
What started out as a rather gloomy mid afternoon began to clear as we neared the end of the cruise, allowing greater visibility of Mitre Peak and the surrounding peaks.
