Hooker Lake, Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, New Zealand
The elusive Aoraki / Mount Cook appeared momentarily through a small crack in the clouds, only as I was returning to the camp grounds at White Horse Hill. The temperature at Hooker Lake was close to 3 degrees Celcius at the time, not exactly bone chilling, but slightly frigid nonetheless. The glacier wall can be seen near the midsection of this picture. I took this picture with my iPhone 12 Pro, and quite unfortunately I didn’t shoot in raw. I nevertheless did some minor processing in Lightroom to make the image pop just a little bit more.
